Church/Community Center Building Projects

Healthy neighborhoods are built around something, but most third-world housing is haphazard and unplanned. The people who live there are struggling to survive. We believe in working from the Church in that community, making the Church the heart of the community from which compassion flows. Our goal is to coordinate outreach projects with local leaders to develop new churches and outreach centers, or improve upon existing facilities.

You and your group can help us with these projects. We will provide the framework for the opportunity and your group will provide the required resources. All you need is a willing heart and a week or two out of your life to help make the difference in a very needy community. Donate now to help an established church build a building from which to love their community, or to purchase the lot on which to begin.

Medical Teams

Experienced, qualified healthcare professionals can make a very big difference in third-world communities where even a lack of fresh drinking water can cause a health crisis domino-effect. Often, elective procedures are put off indefinitely due to financial hardship, and needy individuals simply learn to adapt with their ailments and handicaps.

With local leaders, LSMI coordinates opportunities for healthcare service teams to operate short-term clinics within easy walking distance of these needy communities. You and your colleagues can help us with these worthy projects. We will provide the framework for the opportunity while your group provides the necessary equipment and supplies. You need to be ready to serve in this unique way and be ready for all the blessings that are sure to come for everyone involved.

Ministry Teams

For many, sharing the Gospel in a third-world community is an experience that broadens and shapes their lives in a way that is difficult to obtain by any other means. It’s the entire experience – from planning the journey, to securing financial support, to just getting there, to experiencing a different culture, to sharing their stories, to seeing God at work, to witnessing forever changed lives – it all adds up to an unforgettable experience with lasting impact on everyone involved.

LSMI works with international ministry teams and local leaders to coordinate ministry outreach projects that are tailored to the unique needs of individual teams and the area in which they will serve. Talk with your pastor about sending a group to go on a meaningful LSMI ministry outreach project.

Celebrate our victories with us!

We are blessed to have been a part of the successful purchase of land and construction of a building for the church family of Fuente de Vida, Jesu Cristo, Ixtapa, Jalisco and our good friends Pastor Javier Rueda and his wife Bety. Help LSMI plant more churches/community centers like this successful project.

Current Building Projects

Oviedo, province of Pedernales,
Dominican Republic

Birthed from a “God Dream” Lee had in 2006 (see our newsletter August 2013), we began construction in October 2013. We were given land in the planned center of town, and have had many volunteers from the community helping to see this dream completed. Join with us to bring hope to the hopeless including Haitian refugees who are camping in the area. Together we can make a difference!

Help us complete the church and community center we are constructing in the Dominican Republic.
